How to Reset Peugeot TPMS Light
If your Peugeot tyre pressure warning light has come on, you must first check all tyres are at the correct pressure before attempting a reset. Driving on under-inflated tyres is dangerous and can damage your vehicle.
Reset Type: Physical Button
Most Peugeot models use a dedicated reset button to calibrate the sensors.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Check all tyre pressures and adjust to recommended values.
Turn on the ignition.
On the dashboard, find the button with the (!) symbol (usually to the right of the steering wheel or in the glovebox).
Press and hold the button until an audible signal sounds or a message appears on the screen.
The warning light will flash and then go out.
Wait for the confirmation message 'Tyre pressure initialized' to appear.
Success! The light should now be cleared. If it stays on or flashes, you may have a faulty sensor or a puncture.
Need a TPMS Tool for your Peugeot?
If the manual reset doesn't work, you may need a TPMS scanner to diagnose a faulty sensor or link new sensors to your vehicle.

Still seeing the warning light?
If you've followed these steps and the light remains on, it could indicate:
- A slow puncture: One tyre is losing air faster than the others can recalibrate.
- Dead TPMS battery: Sensors usually last 5-7 years. If your car is older, the battery might be dead.
- Interference: Some aftermarket electronics or chargers can interfere with wireless TPMS signals.
